Today I would like to share a very simple and basic exercise that will help increasing feminine energy and femininity in general. In the end, it is actually also balances Yin and Yang energies.
Why do we even need to increase feminine energy?
Read following statements and notice which one applies to you:
- You do not feel yourself attractive enough
- You don’t have enough playfulness, lightness and spontaneity in your life
- There are too many events in your life that are not pleasant to you
- There are people in your life that you don’t enjoy spending time with
- You get tired too often or worry too much
- You feel like you have to do it all by yourself and this exhausts you
If you agreed with two or three statements at least, that means the balance of Yin and Yang energies is distorted and Yang energy dominates. Yang energy is the male energy, active energy. Complete harmony of both energies happens when there is a balance of them, meaning there is a necessary amount of female and male energies. And it does not have to be half and half, in fact it can change depending on the situation.
The following exercise will help with increasing feminine polarity, or Yin, and thus will help to balance both of them eventually.
When a woman thinks a lot, maybe too much, always resolved various life issues, she “lives” in her head. All her energy goes up, to her head, where she needs it the most because she uses it all the time. However, to bring energies back to balance, the energy should go down, towards the main center of gravity of woman’s body – her uterus. If we “live” in our head all the time, our center of gravity does not have enough energy and is constantly starving. We stop feeling grounded, we lose our confidence and start having fears and worries. To nurture it, we can do a simple exercise like this one.
Exercise for Feminine Energy
Sit comfortably and take a deep breath. Slowly close your eyes. Try to feel your whole body, while noticing your thoughts. Just acknowledge the fact of its existence. Follow your thoughts in your head. And now imagine how all this energy in your head starts slowly going down.
If you are sensitive enough, just feel yourself and observe the process of the energy going down. If you are less sensitive, you can picture how the small copy of you “sits” in your head, and then goes down in the elevator, softly landing in the area of your uterus.
Now focus entirely on your uterus, just feel how the energy goes there. The energy always goes where your attention is. Observe your feelings and sensations.
Take a few deep breaths. Now imagine how your breathe using your uterus. Do this gently, slowly, mindfully, like a meditation, trying to feel every single detail of your sensations. Help yourself with your breathe, in and out. See internally, how your uterus exhaling and inhaling.
Focus your attention on your uterus for 2-3 minutes. Soon you will feel how you had enough of energy and will want to finish. When you are ready, slowly open your eyes and sit with your sensations. Ask yourself if you feel any difference before the exercise and after.
This exercise is very simple but very powerful. When you master it, you will be able to “go” down at any given moment and automatically go back to a feminine state of mind. You will become more relaxed, peaceful, even the way you move and walk will change. This is a basic exercise for increasing femininity and sexuality.
