The last and the highest chakra is Sahasrara. That is, if we talk about general seven of them, in reality there are many more chakras. Sahasrara is our seventh center which corresponds with the age of 42 to 49 years old.
After having opened previous sixth center, Ajna, woman cannot stop now and will only move further up. Now that she is so widely opened spiritually, she understands that there is something much more powerful than the forces of Nature. Something much bigger and much more pure.
Sahasrara Chakra
She has already found herself and her connection with her loved ones, with the whole world. She was able to accept and keep all of that in her heart, and now she in search of the same loving relationships but with.. God. Or with the Creator/Source of anything. It is really not about becoming religious. It is about becoming truly One and truly divine.
At this age if Sahasrara is fully opened, woman really goes deep into her spiritual practices. She finds great pleasure in it and the love in her heart only glows brighter. This happens because in everything around her she now sees the presence of God. So she now lives in a truly divine world, while still staying here, on Earth. She doesn’t look or act like she is an ungrounded dreamer. On the contrary, she is more present in the here and now than ever, and every moment of her life, each and every communication is a communication with God. She is fully aware of the divine nature of the world and herself. Her heart is full of compassion and love. She is eager to serve all people because she knows that every person is a representative of God here on Earth.
So because of this divinity, each day she becomes more and more beautiful, with her eyes full of complete understanding. She sees the will of God in everything around her. She creates this warm loving relationships with the Divine, she is not afraid of it, she is not acting as a victim in front of it. Her relationships with Divine Father and Mother come into full blooming as she knows they guide her every moment of her life.
This period in life is truly magical because this is when a great depth of love comes. Such women at this age can bring real solace only by just one look or by her presence. And all of her previous energetic centers work really good too (Ajna, Vishuddha, Anahata, Manipura, Swadhistana and Muladhara). These women are gorgeous, sexual, successful, creative and have divine guidance with them all the time.
Impaired Sahasrara
Like always, there is another way of this center being developed. And it is sad, like always. There are actually two other sad ways. One way is such woman becomes extremely religious. She follows all of the services and all of the “rules”, goes to church actively and maybe fasts very often. However, unfortunately, she does not feel any love, joy and happiness. She only feels like she owes something to God. So she starts blaming other people for not doing the same, or for their sins. She becomes cold, in her eyes and in her soul.
Those are the women who are most judgmental, especially in the area of religion. They always try to “teach” you the only one way of praying, or doing other rituals. In brief, they become very dogmatic, and even fearful, and they try to make people fear as well. All of that happens at the same time while inside of her she goes further away from God. The saddest part is – she does not know any other life than this.
The other scenario here is a woman stops believing in anything at all, including God. She keeps living on her previous chakras, where she still tries to find some happiness. However sadly, this is the same thing as if an adult was trying to wear child’s clothes. So sooner or later she starts feeling herself uncomfortable, awkward and a little lost.
Sahasrara Rebirth
So what can we do to avoid these two sad scenarios? It is best to open this chakra, and keep it this way. Since opening takes some time, we can start with harmonizing it first. And remember, you need to take care of all the previous (lower) centers first.
- Finding your spiritual tradition and growing within it, while accepting the existence of other spiritual traditions. This is about choosing any tradition you have found earlier, on the sixth level, and sticking with just one. Once it is done, there will be no more doubts.
- Trying to see the Divine or God in everything.
- Communicating with spiritual people.
- Reciting or chant any types of prayers that would elevate and connect with God.
- Reading literature about the Divine, and just getting to know it more and more and more.
Next time I will share what happens after the age of 49 years old. And there will be two alternate scenarios there as well.
