What is feminine exercise?
Exercising for women is different than for men. Why? Well, we are different, men and women. We do everything differently, speak differently, and think differently. And that is our beauty that we should celebrate. It means exercising should be different as well. So what is feminine exercise?
It is soft flowing movement externally with deep internal work. As oppose to masculine exercise, where the accent is on the outside shape, strict geometrical forms, angles, linear postures, feminine exercises should be soft, yin-like, flowing, circular and slow.
What does your body want?
Stretching, swimming, soft yoga for women, yin-yoga, walking and dancing are all wonderful examples of very feminine exercises. The best physical activity would be the one your body wants. Just learn to listen to what does your body want right now? Maybe jumping? Or stretching legs? Or maybe brisk walk in the morning? The main difference between male and female exercises is for women it is all inside, it should not be directed on a final result, on a certain shape, on a certain score or number. All of that is great motivation in the world of men. Female way is all-intuitive. Trying to feel how long and how much you need to stretch is more beneficial. The process is the key, not the end result.
