In Ancient times people believed that woman had all the creative power of the world in her womb. Mayans has a story where they say that there were three spirits who first came to Earth. First Spirit was a woman, who came here and started creating everything. Second Spirit was a man, who came to Earth to protect woman while she was in the creative process. And the Third Spirit came to Earth to protect this couple, while they were creating the whole world together.
Woman was the main creator of things, including humans. She has an immense power inside of her that can give birth and destroy at the same time. This is the energy that she shares with her man, and if done wisely, couple thrives and lives a wealthy life together. This creative energy, or sexual energy, is located in our second chakra – 3-4 fingers below the navel, inside the womb. This is a very sacred and very important power center for woman. And the more energy we have there, the more powerful we are. And the more feminine we are.
More Womb – Less Wrinkles
Ideally, this area should always be “hot”, meaning it should always be alive, soft and warm from all the creative energetic alchemy happening there. If this is not the case, this area is usually tense, too flat, too rigid and too tense. It can be felt as a hard rock sometimes. Since this is our main energy, it is very crucial to keep this center alive, and to pay attention to it more than once in a while. If it is alive and warm, success, health and happiness will never leave you.
We also have a natural ability to nourish this center and fill it with energy and power, taking this energy straight from the Universe. Once we start “living” in the womb, we change our behavior immediately. Even our facial expression changes, and our face becomes smoother and brighter. The more we are in the womb mentally, the less wrinkles we have on the forehead. Simple explanation: our energy goes away from our head to our lower body. And this is exactly where it should be, if we were born as women.
Quick Practice
There are many beautiful practices to start “living” in the womb. I have already wrote about some of them here. Today I would like to share some more, including the easiest and most simple one that we can start doing already today. In fact, right now.
The most easy and fast practice is to sit down, relax and bring your attention to your belly, imagining your womb inside of you. The moment you do that, you will feel subtle energy shift, you will feel like you just became calmer. Perhaps, your belly relaxes. Perhaps, your breath becomes slower. Even your heart beat will slow down. If you feel any of these, congratulations. You just visited your most sacred creative center – your womb.
Longer Practice
Another practice we can all do daily is quite simple but very effective. It only takes about 10-15 minutes. It can be done early in the morning or later in the evening, whichever feels right to you. This exercise allows us to stay in touch with your womb, to be in contact with it and to befriend it.
The Practice
♥ Start with creating an atmosphere. Turn on the music, candles, incenses, salt lamps, anything that brings you in the mood. Find a quiet place to sit down, where no one will disturb you, sit down and close your eyes.
♥ At first, stay there quietly and focus on your sensations. What do you feel right? Where do you feel it? Quite your mind and prepare yourself to the practice.
♥ Then, start breathing a little more deeply. Focus on your chest rising and falling, and then gradually go down to your belly, mentally. And try to breathe more with your belly. Observe how it expands and contracts, and how peaceful your breath is.
♥ Now, continue breathing, and move visually to your womb. Imagine how you breathe not with your belly but with your womb. Imagine how the air goes inside and out throughout your womb.
♥ As you breathe, you may notice new sensations and feelings. Pay attention to them. What do you feel in your womb? What kind of energy? Can you “see” the color of it? Can you feel an emotion there? Try to play around with the sensations you are experiencing, and remember, whatever that is that you feel now is valid. You may feel anger, fear, grief, hurt, pain, guilt. All of these emotions and feelings accumulates in our womb center and stay there, keeping our womb unhealthy and tensed.
♥ After you found something there, try to communicate with your womb and talk to it, as best as you can. You may place one hand on your belly to strengthen this connection. Ask your womb “What can I do to help?” ,“What do you need to feel better?” “What needs to be done right now?” . The answer will come immediately, and will be the right one. You may need to write it down, as later your mind will disregard it as some silly thought. Which is not true, so make sure you journal it.
♥ Now is the good time for a special breathing. With each inhale your womb fills with pink warm light of Love, and with exhale all the negative emotions and feelings are going out of it. You may then direct them straight to the earth, as it will easily take them all and recycle. Keep repeating inhaling and exhaling, and filling your womb with pink light, for about 5-8 minutes.
♥ Let your womb know that from now on you will be taking better care of it, and that you are very thankful for it. You are thankful for all the beauty, femininity, sensuality, intuition and charm it gives you so generously.
♥ Now, begin to rise your breath from womb to belly, and then to your chest. Take another deep breath or two, and then open your eyes.
After Effect
This practice can be done even if you don’t have a womb physically, as on the subtle level of energy it is still there. It is a very convenient exercise because it can be performed almost anywhere, whenever you have a few spare minutes. The more you do it, the better the connection you will feel as time goes by. After some time, you should have a feeling that your womb is like a lighthouse that lights up everything around you, as you walk. The best of it all is that other people will feel it too, and they will enjoy your presence and will always be happy to see you. And they will talk differently and smile more, because you will be like a little sun, how can they not smile? 🙂
Try to stay in contact with your womb everyday at least for a little bit, if you don’t have time. Keeping it alive and loved is one of the most, if the not the most, important things we can do for our physical, emotional and psychological health.
Stay sensual, lovelies!
