Although being feminine is not only about being pretty on the outside, starting on this physical level just makes it easier for you. It is a way to “try on femininity” and see if you like it. Everything else comes as part of the whole process, adding to your femininity on many other levels. So what steps can any woman take to be more feminine on a physical level?
Pick Right Clothes
This is the very first and basic step. And I will say it straight (like I did many times before) – a feminine woman does not wear pants all the time. Pants and jeans connect us to masculine energy and this is not what you need at this level. So it is advised to look at your wardrobe first and foremost and find out how many skirts or dresses you have. If you have none, that is your first task. To go and shop for skirts and dresses. I guarantee you when a woman is wearing a dress, people’s opinion about her changes immediately, especially that of men.
How it can help us? When you wear a dress, you cannot really carry something big and heavy, it won’t be comfortable. You cannot rush and run everywhere in it, you won’t be able to jump out of the car from it. That is the whole point. What you call “uncomfortable” is actually the process of slowing you down. And this is one of the most important states of femininity. So instead of being mad about it, acceptance is a step towards being more feminine and elegant. When we wear a dress, it is just easier to be a woman, and we act like a woman. Simple.
As an additional tip, I like to suggest imagining how a Goddess or a Queen would act. They always move with grace, elegance, and slightly slow. You won’t see a Queen in a rush, right? Just keep those images in mind. It also helps with buying your clothes. Before you buy anything, ask yourself “Would a Goddess/Queen wear this?” You can think of a particular person or just an abstract image.
Eat Healthy Foods
Moving on to good eating habits. There is an ocean of information about it now and it is easy to get lost. With all of this, there are still some simple suggestions that seem to be everywhere. And that is: do not eat after 6:00 pm, eat organic and whole foods, avoid junk foods and drinks. Those are very basic simple things you can start doing today. This will allow you to connect with your body more, which is also a very feminine practice. Try to eat a lot of fruits and berries. Allow yourself healthy sweets as sweet taste is very beneficial for a woman and helps you be more feminine.
Try not to stick to just one particular diet because all women are very different. We have different body constitutions and have different needs on how to nourish them. Once you eat healthily, you’ll be able to hear clearly what your body craves. This is the most accurate “diet” you will create for yourself.
Take Care of Your Body
Taking care of your skin and body is not only incredibly pleasurable but also very feminine. Just by doing that you already become more feminine. So, you can start using simple home products to create masks and aromatic oils to take care of your skin, hair, nails, and whole body. Remember, simple products that you would eat are the best ones to put on your skin.
Create a pampering sessions schedules for you, daily or weekly. And dedicate that time just for yourself, doing everything slowly and enjoying every second of it. Even a simple shower can be a ritual of femininity and self-love if you touch yourself gently, enjoying the feeling of soap or water on your skin. Just be creative and follow your senses.
Pay Attention to Your Voice
Voice plays an important role in your journey to be more feminine. As an experiment, take some time to speak only with a nice, soft and tender voice. Just like Marilyn Monroe, for example. Make it as soft as possible. It can be hard at the beginning but treat it like a game and have fun. Once you try it, note the reaction of people around you.
Another way to play with it is to record yourself speaking and then listen. This is how people around you hear you. Look for harsh words, swearing, high pitch, rude intonation. Anything that is not associated with femininity should not be there.
Pick a Good Physical Activity
It is very popular to do all kinds of workouts now. And we need to remember that we are on the quest to be more feminine, so not everything will suit our needs. The good rule of thumb is to choose something that does not work on your stamina or muscles too much. The focus of any workout should be on stretching and becoming more flexible and soft, not strong. It can be a yoga flow or simple morning exercises as long it all stretches you and makes you feel expanded and at peace in the end.
The perfect type of physical activity for a woman is dancing. Especially belly dancing. Other amazing activities are swimming, yoga (the best ones are Yin Yoga, Yoga for Women, Yoga Nidra), walking. Nothing that pumps up your adrenalin, we don’t need that. We need to feel centered and grounded at the end, just keep that in mind. And most importantly, we have to absolutely enjoy being in our female body at the end. If you feel this way, you found your perfect workout.
Those are simple steps to take to be more feminine on a basic physical level. Allow yourself to try it all for some time before you can feel any difference. With time, slowly and surely, you will return back to yourself and your feminine side. And some day you will understand you need something deeper. That is when other levels come up, that I will share next time.
